Congratulations to Jiaqi Zhu for passing his prelim exam!
Congratulations to Dr. Pengfei Zhou and our former postdoc, Prof. Xinxin Shao. Their paper where they have developed a new reagent, 2-azatrienes, for the catalytic enantioselective and diastereodivergent synthesis of allylic diamines has been accepted at JACS. Nice work!!
Undergrad Jeffrey Zheng joins the lab for a summer internship as an Amgen Scholar. Welcome, Jeffrey!
Undergraduate Annie Zhang joins the lab. Welcome, Annie!
Congratulations to Chibueze, whose review on strategies for catalytic enantioselective synthesis of alpha-trifluoromethyl amines was accepted at ACS Catalysis!
After five terrific years in the lab, Nathan Adamson is leaving Duke for sunny Southern California. Nathan will begin his NIH-sponsored postdoc with Prof. Neil Garg at UCLA. Best of luck, Nathan!
Nathan Adamson received an NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein Postdoctoral Fellowship (NRSA) to begin his studies with Prof. Neil Garg at UCLA. Congratulations, Nathan!
Congratulations to Nathan Adamson for the successful defense of his Ph.D. dissertation. Awesome job, Nathan!
Congratulations to our former postdoc, Dr. Gus Logan, for his recent Chem. Commmun. publication in collaboration with the Theis and Warren labs. This work illustrates that, compared to the traditional Ir-IMes catalyst for SABRE, an Ir-PHOX catalyst allows for hyperpolarization of sterically hindered substrates.
